Introduction Estimated prevalence of dry eye disease (DED) ranges from 5 to 50% [1]. It is known that the development of DED has non-modifiable risk factors such as female sex, older age and modifiable factors, such as average computer screen time, prolonged face mask use [2– 7]. During the COVID-19 pandemic subjects have been exposed to more modifiable risk factors of DED. This led to changes in the ocular tear film, that have been observed and are further investigated globally [8,9]. Aim To compare eye dryness symptoms and signs in subjects before and after COVID-19.
