Introduction: In earlier studies with variations of Oppel-Kundt illusion we have detected significant differences in perception of this illusion in people with schizophrenia spectrum disorders (SSD) compared to healthy individuals [1, 2]. Impairments of visual perception might be caused by dysfunction in GABAergic, serotonergic and other systems [3, 4]. Possible relationships between visual perception and psychiatric symptoms can help better understand the pathophysiology of SSD. Aim: To evaluate the correlation between visual perception of Oppel-Kundt illusion with cross-type linear distractor and psychiatric symptoms. [...].
